The First Tee Greater Pasadena Coach Invited to Korea

Required fields are marked * Subscribe Kathy Cho (Facebook)Kathy Cho, PGA and LPGA Class A Professional and senior coach for the girls’ golf program with The First Tee of Greater Pasadena, was recently invited by The First Tee home office to visit The First Tee Korea to train their coaches in delivering the First Tee curriculum.The training took place on Monday, June 24th through Wednesday, June 26th at Ansan KWS Golf Academy in Korea. A total of six coaches were provided Level 2 training, which is an advanced training. Instruction included lesson plan preparation and execution.A quote from one of the coaches in attendance: “…she shared her experience and knowledge that is very helpful for us. Thank you for sending us a great teacher.”From the Executive Director of The First Tee Korea: “I am most grateful for all the preparation that she did for our training and I have absolutely no doubt that her training will go a long way in continuing to provide quality programs to our children.”This is the second time Cho has been asked to assist Korean instructors. Last year, in June, the LPGA selected her to serve as a translator for the LPGA Level III training in Daytona Beach, FL for their Korean participants. Cho has also served six times as a translator for the LPGA, three times in Korea and three times in the United States.“We, at The First Tee of Greater Pasadena, are very proud that Kathy has been a coach to our female participants for 13 years. Kathy is well known at Brookside Golf Club and in the golfing world and is considered one of the top teaching professionals in the area.”The First Tee of Greater Pasadena is a Chapter of The First Tee®.
