Binghamton makes top ranking of best cities to eat in Upstate NY

first_img“You take pride in continuing the same service, the same reputation that’s been going on for generations, and you have the family values,” said Eliott Lupo from Lupo’s S&S Char Pit. “We have a lot of regulars, so part of our success is the fact that they come in on a daily or weekly basis and we try to give them the same food and service that they’re used to every time,” said Lisio. Meanwhile, Lupo’s S&S Char Pit was recognized as having the best spiedie in town, representing the true signature of Binghamton. On New York Upstate’s website, Binghamton was named number two of 12 spots for best food. The article specifically mentioned Little Venice and Lupo’s S&S Char Pit as leading restaurants in making Binghamton stand out. Owner of Little Venice, Piero Lisio, says he was grateful for the recognition. He credited it toward his restaurant’s homemade Italian cuisine and his loyal customers. BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Binghamton has been ranked one of the top cities in Upstate New York to eat by an online ranking site, crediting two restaurants in the area for the listing. Ithaca and Oneonta also made the list in the top 12 rankings.last_img read more
